Summary
This story is gonna be a little different than most of my stories. It will be dark, but not in the sense of 'evil beings' or 'tormented pasts' or things like that. This is dark in the sense that it will be sad in the end. I'm even crying right now as I think about how it'll end.
But don't get me wrong. This story may have a sad ending, but it will also be lighthearted. There's gonna be allot of joy and happiness in the story as well...which is probably why the sad ending is that much worse. But in the sadness of it's ending, there will be a ray of hope.
This story was inspired by two things. The first is the fanfic 'Harmony Harmony' on FIMfiction . net. The second is an episode of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' when Data built himself a daughter. My OC Cyba is in fact the very first OC I've written into a fanfic. Of course back then, it was a DragonBall Z fic and Cyba was a saiyan android. So going from DBZ to MLP means some drastic changes. In fact, the only thing Cyba has in common with his DBZ counterpart is the name and the fact that they're both androids.
Now enough of this history lesson, let's get on with the fic.

After putting Discord back in his place, the ponies all spend the night in Canterlot Castle to rest up for the trip back home. But after the excitement and horror of the last few days, no one is getting any sleep. Even though they're all finally themselves again, they can't shake the discomfort, the anxiety, and the bad memories associated with what he'd done to them.
Discord had fundamentally changed them, and even if they'd all come together to triumph in the end, the six ponies have a lot to cope with. Including and especially the fear that their friendship might not be as strong as they'd thought.
Fortunately, things have a way of working themselves out in Canterlot. And if no one's going to sleep, they might as well have some fun instead.

A few days pass, and it's the big day. The day where Fluttershy finally tells Twilight Sparkle how she feels. Fluttershy is so nervous, she doesn't know what to do! But she's not the only one nervous. Her companion for the evening is equally nervous, and decides to go get advice from Rarity.
The dressmaker is now torn, having Pinkie Promised both of her friends that she would not reveal their secrets, but neither of the lovers will just say the three magic words. So now Rarity's on a one mare mission to help her two friends find love by any means necessary! And she still has 3 dresses to complete!

Summary
Takes place during the events of "The Last Roundup", before the gang leaves Ponyville. "Bright Eyes" refers to the blond pegasus with the bubble Cutie Mark, commonly known to the fandom as "Derpy Hooves".
Bright Eyes is clumsy. Bright Eyes is funny looking. Bright Eyes doesn't seem to have a care in the world. It's a shame that last assumption isn't actually not true in the slightest. The walleyed Pegasus is deeply uncertain over her place in Ponyville, and the place she holds in the eyes of her peers and friends.
The night after Applejack leaves for the rodeo, she finds herself back at the damaged town hall, surveying the damage she'd done, full of her usual anxieties and self doubt. Fluttershy finds her there and offers her some reassurance, one underperforming Pegasus to another. She also gives Bright Eyes her solemn promise as a friend - she'll teach the town to call her friend by her name if it's the last thing she does.
