After a young mage, Solona Amell, makes the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Blight, only two Grey Wardens remain alive in Ferelden. Unfortunately, they are not on speaking terms. As Alistair decides to walk away from the crown, will Loghain Mac Tir achieve the impossible: persuade Maric's bastard to fulfill his duties and marry Loghain's daughter? He'll certainly try his best, but will it be the right thing to do?
Based on Dragon Age Origins and Awakening, as well as David Gaider's books "The Stolen Throne" and "The Calling". Alistair/Loghain.

What happens in here? Awkward Garrett Hawke is a barista with a crush on the guy with white ink tattoos who comes in to Bianca's Coffee every morning. His friends Isabela, Merrill and Andy take it upon themselves to help him, in the capacity of Wingmen, to not totally blow it with him.
It's an uphill battle every step of the way.

Summary

Summary
Originally written for Dragon Age Ladies week on Tumblr befire it turned into Morrigan week. I can think of no lady more awesome than Flemeth, and I've been wanting to write a bit about her life and times for a while. Replaying Origins recently has helped! Title is from The Once and Future King, although Flemeth is far and away better than any of the witches in that.

The Heretic, Kirkwall's most wanted apostate. She's hated by all and loved by them as well, she champions those without. No one knows who she is, not even those who work with her. She thumbs her nose at the law and the revolutionaries, affiliating herself to nothing save Kirkwall itself. Her allies are few, men and women who find themselves in her debt and drawn to her charisma, whether they actually like her or not.
Lady Hawke is the Headmistress for Kirkwall's most private and exclusive Academy. Cold, practical, yet unfailing kind people are drawn to her authority. She's a pariah amongst the nobles for her questionable heritage, and the few friends she has love her or hate her.
Two different personas, two different lives, one single woman fighting for a future where no one remains bound in the City of Chains.
