“Through adversity to the stars.” Hawke and Fenris's first meeting does not go well: A weary Hawke is angered at being used as bait and Fenris is dismayed to discover that most of the people he must rely on for help are mages. As time goes on, though, they each develop a grudging respect for the other, as well as other feelings that both are loath to acknowledge. However, Fenris's aversion to physical contact and his terrifying flashbacks do not help matters, nor does the revelation that Hawke is more than he first appeared to be. Will follow many plot points of DA2 but will not strictly follow canon.

Meanwhile, Harry held to his promise and waited, but his patience has run thin. Now Thomas has to deal with Harry, who is discovering that their feelings for one another aren't exactly brotherly, while trying to save him.
