This fic is partly inspired by the bits in ‘Chosen’ where Buffy says, “Every girl who *could* be a slayer, *is* a slayer”, and shows a very young girl as an example of this; and also the apparent lack of reaction to everything that was lost in Sunnydale besides the mall. I think both of those needed a bit of follow-through. The story is set in Salzburg, Austria. There is a German/English translation at the end of the story.
