This was originally supposed to be a set of Mary Sue porn ficlets as a Christmas gift to my dearest childhood (well, pre-adulthood) friends, each to be set in the fandom of her choice. Then I thought of a way to tie them all together with some semblance of plot, and before I knew it, there I was researching the ancient woodlands of Great Britain and which neurotransmitters are implicated in orgasm.
