Summary
AU. FrUK. Francis is a firefighter with no regard for his life whatsoever. Arthur is a chef and owner of a small town restaurant, who also happens to be arsonphobic. Once his terrible cooking sets his restaurant on fire, and he's saved by the handsome firefighter named Francis, there is no turning back - His heart is torn between loving Francis and his growing fear of fire.

The man inside was in white, white scrubs. The color that a saint would wear, expect this man, this man really wasn’t a saint. Far from a saint or holy for that matter, the man inside that room was deemed insane by most, by everyone that wasn’t his brother. His eyes had bags under them, from the lack of sleep, from the hallucinations that took place before his eyes. The dreams that were muddled, and often turned into nightmares, that turned into the screaming and yelling being he saw before his eyes. The one that called himself Lucifer.
The man brushed his bangs back, fingers trembling not from the medicine. No. It was never from the drugs. It was from the memories. The flickering fires in his heart, in his soul. The burning feeling the flames eat him out alive, getting under his skin, making him scream and cry out. Sometimes even in his sleep, he couldn't escape them, it was like a suffocating vice. A vice that got tighter and tighter as time went on, and was squeezing the life out of him. Draining him, of whom he was.
