Summary
Instead of 23rd century space explores, Kirk, McCoy and the entire (and I mean entire) rest of the gang have been converted to staff in and around a modern day police force. Set in Iowa City, Kirk and McCoy are partners on the 3.00 - 11.00 shift. McCoy is Kirk's FTO (Field Training Officer) with Pike as their long-suffering but fun-loving boss. Chris is married to Lynn, a wonderful pastry chef, and together they have a son, Ethan, the latter of whom is BFFs with Chekov. Scotty is the Iowa City PD's chief (and only mechanic), Sulu is their hand-to-hand instructor, and Spock is the head of Internal Affairs. Uhura is a social worker for the State of Iowa, Sarek is an adjunct shrink for the department, and Gaila is the city's PIO (Public Information Officer). Also thrown in the mix are no less than one dozen original characters, ranging from jailers to barkeeps and everything in between.
The series focuses on McCoy, Kirk and Pike and the epic bromance that is their relationship, but everyone else gets their due. It's full of highs, lows, laughs, tears, triumphs, tragedies and twists and turns. It's as real as I can possibly make it while still maintaining the very essence of Canon!AOS Trek. In short, I hope you enjoy it!
