Castiel stood there looking around with wide eyes and surprise etched into his features. His sword moved slightly when he turned looking at something new, completely oblivious to the eyes staring at him or the whispers, clothes shifting with his movements. Showing off the lean lines that used to be hidden by a suit and trench coat.
“Please telling me you’ve made a move by now.” Charlie muttered from beside Dean who was staring at Cas decked out in medieval clothes. Leather and dark blue material with a sword and chain-mail made a very interesting sight.

2/3 Cups of Hurt/Comfort
1/2 Cups of Angst
1/2 Cups of Unresolved Sexual Tension
1/4 Cups of Fluff
1/4 Cups of Repentance/ForgivenessAdd a dash of Fed-Up Sam for extra flavor.
Blend ingredients in a large bowl and leave mixture to simmer on a low flame for several hours. Cook slowly until mixture begins to heat and thicken, stirring frequently to prevent any from sticking to the pot and burning. Once cooked, use cheesecloth to strain out any lumps, then set out to cool for twenty minutes. Enjoy!

As Castiel rebelled against God’s will to help Lucifer escape Heaven, the Creator himself punishes him with something akin to a black hole inside his chest: an unbearable pain known among the angels as the Hand of God. Cut out from Heaven, his brothers, and his own angelic powers, Castiel is thrown into the planet Earth and forced to live as a human. The former angel knows he can’t be saved, but that won’t stop Sam Winchester from trying.

Parallel/alternate ending to Season 8: Castiel knew he was risking his fall when he took the tablet. He's defied Heaven before, but there are only so many chances one man gets. And that's all he is now, a man, back on the Winchesters' doorstep and into the line of fire. All he ever tries to do is the right thing, and it seems like the right thing is never what it seems. At least Dean knows his heart is in the right place, but that doesn't make them any less screwed six ways from Sunday. Abaddon has the Angel Tablet, Metatron has used him to evacuate Heaven, and Hell might be closed, but at a strange price for Sam. There were no truer words than that old saying: The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Sam and Dean are just about up to their hair with crap. The Apocalypse, thanks to Sam and Zachariah and Ruby and Lucifer, has been jump-started, Dean and Sam can't really look at each other anymore, let alone be in the same room, Castiel is hardly around and hardly shows up except when in need, and Dean just cannot take anymore of it.
Unfortunately, when lines get crossed one too many times for a certain hunter, Dean says "yes" to Michael and finds out that a certain Archangel is closer than anybody would have imagined. Add the Cas loves Dean (briefly), Dean loves Michael (eventually) and Sam loves Cas Love Web to that equation, and you get a mountain of crap that left the moon behind ten miles away.
