Summary
A/N: Apologies to Bucky fans, but I can't think of anyone else Steve would trust with this. Extra apologies for how unedited and probably riddled with typos and other errors this is. I actually fell asleep partway through writing it.
"Come on, Steve, I got Laura to bring a friend for ya this time," Bucky grinned, tugging on Steve's arm. "Let's go to the soda shop!"
"Bucky, I don't wanna go out again, I don't have enough money for a date." Steve tried to pull away, but Bucky had always been bigger and stronger than him.
"You do too, I've seen you puttin' money in that jar," Bucky rolled his eyes. "She's a little slip of a thing, she can't eat much, don't worry about it."
He was saving that money for art supplies, not that he was going to tell Bucky that. Bucky still thought doodling was a girly hobby that Steve took too seriously.
"I don't wanna go out with any girl," Steve said firmly. He wasn't breathing at all, it made him feel weirdly disconnected from the conversation. "I don't like dames, Bucky. And they don't like me."

Summary
They were becoming something not quite casual: Hiruma began staying longer, until Yukimitsu often woke to the sound of Hiruma physically and verbally bullying Yukimitsu's elderly espresso machine into producing drinkable caffeine. Yukimitsu could order Hiruma's favorites at any of a half-dozen restaurants and take-out places. Hiruma's things slowly filtered into Yukimitsu's apartment: a toothbrush in the bathroom, a few sets of clothes in a drawer, a second Deimon Devilbats mug next to Yukimitsu's in the dish drainer.
