Major spoilers for entire series! Picks up after ADWD. As winter creeps slowly south, Alayne spends her time at Harrenhal under the watchful eye of Petyr Baelish. They travel to King's Landing for Cersei's trial. At the same time, Sandor is dispatched from the Quiet Isle to fight as champion of the Faith.
Trying to stay as true to the series as possible in terms of details, but with the amount of side stories and minor characters, mistakes may occur (feel free to correct me!). After Loki is brought back to Asgard for justice, he's somewhat appalled to find that his family still cares for him and worries about his well-being. Even worse, they have a cunning plan to keep him safe from Thanos and sort out the havoc he's been wreaking everywhere.
It works. And for one brief shining moment, Loki Is Happy.
Naturally, it all goes downhill from there.

Upon returning to Asgard to face his punishment, incarceration until the All-Father sees otherwise, Loki conjures up his latest scheme to slay his brother involving, tricking and betraying along the way several dangerous foes. As he is close to his goals a change of heart from his part destroys his plans and while recuperating from severe injuries in Tony's California mansion Loki begins to gain their trust and they gain his. In doing so Loki and Thor begin anew as friends, teammates and brothers but when Loki's previous temporary allies learn he has used and betrayed them they seek vengeance in the form of Loki's bloodied corpse or the Earth will be destroyed.
