Summary
Thor and Jane didn't start some crazy, never-gonna-work, failboaty romance. They just didn't. Thor's happy off with Sif or whoever and he just loves Jane like a sister or whatever. Deal? Deal.
Clint didn't take this particular assignment because he thought it looked fun or it gave him real purpose or any of the other stuff you always hear the rookies spout off, Clint took this because it was far enough away from any and all situations he was looking to avoid.
Throw in a gorgeous astrophysicist, her quirky sidekick, and some serious threats to national security, and you can find love and all those other emotions thrown about like confetti at a parade.
And Clint and emotions aren't the most cohesive things in the world.Here be Clint trying to figure out just what's going on, Jane trying to accept there are things other than science, and Darcy laughing at the idiots that think they have things so under control.

Originally a fill posted at norsekink in response to the prompt:
"After the Avengers capture Loki at the end of the movie, they lock him up as a precaution before shipping him off to Asgard. And being the good guys, they decide to give him the chance to bathe and dress in clean clothes instead of sleeping in his own dirty rags.
The problem is, without the whole battle gear and the drawn and mean look, Loki looks surprisingly young, which prompts the Avengers to ask Thor just how old Loki really is. Of course Loki is centuries old, but Thor tells them that in human standard, Loki would still be considered underage!
Cue to horrified Avengers who wants to know exactly what sort of crappy home life Loki must have had to end up like this before even reaching adulthood."
It rather spiralled from there into a behemoth, now in the process of being edited and hopefully cleaned of glaring plotholes! Updated daily.

Summary
Thor takes a good look at Loki once he has hauled him back onto the quinjet, and realizes that there is something odd about Loki's eyes. Thor has grown and changed much in the last year, and no longer takes anything for granted. So he starts asking questions. It doesn't take long to figure out that Loki is not acting of his own free will.
Tony Stark knows what it is to be forced to do as an enemy commands. Steve Rogers has seen the atrocities manipulative madmen are willing to commit. Clint, Logan, Bruce and Natasha have been subjected to said madmen. They all know what it is to lose themselves, and to seek redemption.
Together, this band of broken heroes draws a line in the sand. They will not tolerate any tyrant, foreign or domestic. That includes Nick Fury and the WSC, who have used everyone on the team for their own aims. It includes Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, who has hunted Bruce against all reason. It includes Odin, who treats his sons like commodities. And it includes Thanos, who has delusions of conquering Earth.
Along the way, they learn to trust each other. They learn to help each other. They become a family.

Summary
Thor Movie AU. Loki is cast out of Asgard for deceiving everyone and being responsible for the chaos that happens on Jotunhiem. This results in him meeting Jane, Erik and Darcy. His magic is taken from him before leaving Asgard, and is embedded into his golden three pronged spear, which may or may not follow him down to earth. He feels betrayed by his family after finding out the truth of his heritage, and is reluctant to become friends with the Midgardians who find him. He finds himself drawn to Jane Foster, who is the first one to show him kindness, unconditionally.

Eight years have passed since the events of The Avengers, but things have not remained static. Thor has married his beloved Jane. They have had a daughter Astrid, and they raise her together, still in New Mexico where they first met.
For Loki however, little has changed. Still he is banished from Asgard, still his powers are sealed. How bitter it is, knowing that Thor too lives in Midgard, and that he enjoys so pleasant a life himself. If he cannot regain the Kingship that is his by right, at least, Loki thinks, he should be able to achieve revenge upon his oblivious, satisfied brother.

The Souls from Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" invaded and took over the Marvel Universe. Most of the heroes, and some of the villains, got away and are holding out on the helicarrier. Loki comes back to earth unaware of the invasion, he is injured and desperate, and unknowingly walks right into a Soul Center(Because his magic is severely drained, he need medical attention, and he thought it was still a hospital), where the Healers knock him out, heal him up, and a soul is inserted into him that takes over his body. But Loki's mind won't fade away like most other humans, he's still Conscious, and withholding his memories form and harassing the Soul in him body.
