Summary
The year is 1969, and Richard Nixon has just been elected President of the United States. Mutant rights are one of the burning issues of the day, the country torn between those who see mutants as human beings and citizens who deserve the rights and respect that come with both and those who believe they are a threat to be contained, controlled or eliminated. The stormclouds are gathering, and Charles and Erika Xavier will be at the heart of it.

Now Charles is hiding out in a moving castle with a fire demon named Logan who has a cigar problem, a magical apprentice and accidental firestarter named Alex, and the same handsome man who got Charles into this mess in the first place. A man who just happens to be the great and terrible Wizard Erik.

This story has a mixture of both Comic verse and movie verse. I took the movies mainly but added in comic backgrounds for the characters. They didn't go into back stories in the movies and I thought that was a bit sad. This is after the 3rd movie where Mystique is shot with the cure and it goes back for a bit of back story. Azazel has promised Raven that if she ever needed him all she had to do was whistle, the next time she whistles for him he finds her naked in the back of a squad truck no longer a mutant...
