Summary
Alternia and Beforus were once paired planets, catastrophically collapsing and causing the mass migration of trolls to Earth. The Orphaner Dualscar was landed with a grub, sweeps later given a second, both biologically his. Now Cronus is nearing adulthood-and the boy is fucked up. Really fucked up. How could Dualscar have missed all these signs? How can he work with his son to keep his second grub safe from the same harm?

The Descendants all react differently, but as the Humans say, they have Familial Ties with their Ancestors.

Summary
“I’m busy,” says Dualscar. “I havven’t the time to be dealin’ wwith your shameless hussyin’.”
He is once again surprised when Eridan does not rile against his remark and stamp his feet as he leaves. Instead, there’s pressure on his knees, followed by a much heavier pressure on his thighs as Eridan climbs up into his lap. Another warning growl yields no results and he ignores the boy in favour of reading. Dainty fingers briskly pluck the charts from his hand and drop them to the floor.
“Oh look,” says Eridan, “noww you aren’t busy.”
Dualscar’s temper flares, but to Eridan’s credit, he does not back down or away from the elder troll’s bared teeth. He steels himself and leans forward, pressing close to Dualscar’s legs as he does so.
“You’ll wwant to make time for this.”
