Summary
Murtagh returns to Uru’baen after the events of Fleeting (by anoyo). He is forced to tell Galbatorix about Eragon’s weakness, and the king orders him –in no uncertain terms- to capture Eragon so his weakness can be exploited. Oblivious, Eragon and Saphira discover a cave containing relics of the old Dragon Rider order, and hasten towards the Varden to alert Nasuada. They are intercepted by Thorn and Murtagh, and Eragon is captured, while Saphira flees to the safety of their allies. Will Eragon be rescued in time to prevent his breaking by Galbatorix? Or will he join the Empire and doom the Varden?
