Summary
Originally, the offerings were initiated by the humans to appease the werewolves by presenting them with possible mates. Then, almost seven years ago, the Argent family moved to town and it all went to hell. Now, it was a matter of choosing one of the girls or boys that the town had selected - because they no longer volunteered - and give them a good fucking before moving on. It kept the contract of peace with the humans and it was sort of tradition by now, but Derek hated it with all his soul.
In an attempt to prevent a repeat of the disaster with Kate, they had built a room for the offerings to wait in, with a cleverly disguised one-way window. It’s a way to observe and get a rough feel for the personalities of the girls and boys in there. Enough to figure out which one will be less of a bother, at least.

The actual fic of my nonfic idea where Teen Wolf has the rules and hierarchy of Patricia Briggs' Alpha and Omega series, also about werewolves. Reading at least one of her books before this is recommended but not strictly necessary. This is set before the canon series started, and backgrounds are fudged. A lot. Which is why the prequels are coming into existence. But also mostly because I want to write them and they've taken hold of all my ideas for this verse and are holding them hostage. This one is entirely centered on Erica, and will dip back and forth in the timeline. It probably won't be in chronological order within this work, but I'll try. Updates may be slow, because RL gets in the way, and I have other things to work on. I'm primarily an amateur artist(and fanartist), and writing is not my strong point nowadays, so most of my time and energy goes into that instead. It's not supposed to be an excuse, just an explanation. All you need to know to understand should be in the nonfic idea, which is the first work in this series.
