Summary
Eregriel and Síreth are two young elves of Lothlórien in the later years of the Watchful Peace. They are in love and in fact betrothed, yet they have chosen to put their ceremonies off for many years, until they can come to some conclusion about what implications the unusual features of their union may have for its validity, in accordance with the local application of the Laws and Customs. Then, during a sudden spate of instability, Síreth, with Eregriel, is chosen to take part in Lórien's first extensive diplomatic interaction with the realms of Men in centuries. They must manage their relationship and cultural expectations across the years and leagues that follow.

Bilbo finds out that dwarves have zero concept of anal sex or rimming and winds up having to explain it to Thorin, to his great embarrassment. Later, the explanation gets more in-depth and eventually gives both Bilbo and Thorin more than they bargained for.
This began as a comical smut one-shot but eventually took on a life of its own as a massive Bagginshield vs Kilbo love triangle. It has become a tale of love, pining, heartbreak, family, and sacrifice. But there is still smut. I'm still me, damnit.

Even though there were angels who lived in Heaven and helped orchestrate events and acted as agents of fate, there were also the angels that just wanted a normal life. For example, take the Novak family. Castiel, Michael, and Lucifer were all brothers. Their father was named Chuck and to them, their mother was just some woman who realized she never wanted fledglings when her kids weren’t even old enough to start elementary school and had abandoned them one night. Castiel, Michael, and Lucifer had three cousins who were named Gabriel, Balthazar, and Zachariah. Michael and Lucifer were twins and older than Castiel by eleven months. This meant that they were all in the same grade, since Michael and Lucifer were born in September and Castiel was born in August of the next year."
