This is the continuing work of a multi-chapter handbook and meta analysis for Season 10 of BBC's Doctor Who. (Getting more tissues ready.) I'm including links to previous analyses on many of the references for people who have come in media res.

This particular work is based on S10 episode 11: "World Enough and Time."

OMG, the Doctor's hair is even LONGER! We'll examine the implications of this, beyond what I mentioned in the previous analysis.

Don't believe everything you see. I'll show you why with more coming in future chapters.

I've provided a list of chapters from my "The Return of Doctor Mysterio" analysis that explains many concepts in "World Enough and Time." If you don't have time to read the chapters, I provide some quick points to reference.

I’ve got a lot to cover across several chapters, but here are a few things. I'll update this as I write the rest of the chapters:

The meaning of the Doctor using “Doctor Who” as his title, the Fish metaphor (finally!) and what they have to do with the Library metaphor and Hospitals. The Master and lots of mirror explanations, tying in “Face the Raven,” “Heaven Sent,” “Hell Bent,” “Journey into Terror,” “Oxygen,” and much more.

The Doctor and Clara go to Alabama where they run into Dean and Cas who are after a Djinn. But everyone is in for a lot more than they bargained for when wishes come true.

Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural or Doctor Who (trust me things would be a lot different if that were the case)

This particular work is based on S10 episode 10: "The Eaters of Light."

OMG, the Doctor's hair has been baffling, but it's length is REALLY important!

This episode ties in the last 3 episodes of Season 9, with references to Ashildr and Clara. River's in the subtext, too.

We see the Doctor's struggle and most likely what he meant by Vestal Virgin, 2nd Class.

We'll also examine the meaning of the TARDIS on the rock, along with the beast on the rock, the meaning of the red wellies, Nardole's stripes, meddling with time, killer robots, and more.

This particular work is based on S10 episode 9: "The Empress of Mars."

There are a huge amount of internal references and external references to look at in this episode.

Mars is not really Mars, but it's extremely important nonetheless. Ice Warriors are more significant than it might appear.

There's another Master reference, much more Norse mythology, several references to ravens and Clara. More usurpation references and suggestions the Doctor is being framed. We'll look at how Friday's importance goes way beyond how it might appear, Missy's 2 faces, and much more.

This particular work is based on S10 episode 8: "The Lie of the Land."

Don't trust what you think you know. We are in the Land of Fiction.

In this chapter, we'll examine the original Library story of the 2nd Doctor and how this is driving so much of what we've been seeing for quite some time.

We'll examine 3 different Library metaphors in "The Lie of the Land" and what each tells us, along with Missy's big con.

There's something wrong with the Doctor. I'll show you some signs of how to tell the lies, and we'll look at connections to the Master, the Valeyard, and Morbius.

We'll look at some influential novels and movies, and the Doctor's terrible choice.

Also, we'll examine some possible foreshadowing of what is to come, along with more Star Trek references.

    Summary

This is the continuing work of a multi-chapter handbook and meta analysis for Season 10 of BBC's Doctor Who. (I'm getting my tissues ready.)

This particular work is based on S10 episode 7: "The Pyramid at the End of the World."

Apologies, since I had to go out of town, I had to post what I had finished before I left.

Update: As I was working on some changes, I had a major revelation about a Star Trek reference. I added a bunch of sections talking about the Doctor blowing up the lab and what it references. Also, I didn't get to finish the part about what was coming up, so I added some more things at the bottom of the chapter.

Update 2x: Another Star Trek reference connects to the Wolf. (Search for UPDATE.)

Don't trust what you see! It's a lie and a ploy to possess the Doctor! We see the abduction of Ganymede (the Doctor). Is Rassilon back and taking prisoners? The lab is mirroring "Oxygen."

"Love is slavery" has been a long-time theme, which we'll look at, including the code DW uses for this.

There are 2 Bills, and her jackets give us a lot of information. And colors become ever more important in this episode. Also, we'll look at where this is all going.

This is the continuing work of a multi-chapter handbook and meta analysis for Season 10 of BBC's Doctor Who. (I'm getting my tissues ready.)

This particular work is based on S10 episode 6: "Extremis."

The subtext is saying we shouldn't trust what we think we see because there is a massive double fake out going on. Is the simulated Doctor really fake? Is Missy's Doctor really real? Is the Doctor hurt worse than we think? How are Missy and the Master involved?

For those of you who have stuck with me for many chapters, thank you! You're finally getting to see that what I've been saying is true. If you are newer to my series, I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for all your lovely comments!

If you have questions, please ask, even if you think they are basic. I may not get back to you for a bit, depending on my schedule; on when you ask in the posting cycle; on how detailed my answer has to be; etc. If possible, I may incorporate answers in a future post. I will try to answer as many questions as possible on the 2 days following the airing of an episode, when I feel the least pressure to get the next post out, as long as my schedule permits.

This is the continuing work of a multi-chapter handbook and meta analysis for Season 10 of BBC's Doctor Who. (I'm getting my tissues ready.)

This particular work is based on S10 episode 2: "Smile." The episode has ties to all the nuWho Doctors and their companions, as well as the 7th Doctor and his 2 companions, Mel and Ace. Additionally, the 4th Doctor has ties to this episode, too.

The first chapter covers the major turning point signaled for the Doctor, his downfall, and the end of the universe and Ragnarök. I also talk about how next week's episode, "Thin Ice" ties into Ragnarök.
