Outside the Slytherin dungeons, most people thought quite well of Charles Xavier. He was an exceptional student, a little reserved but impeccably polite to everyone, no matter their House or station, and never put on airs unlike the heirs of certain other old magical families.
In fact, his fellow students were occasionally to be heard wondering aloud how the Sorting Hat had placed him in the snake pit at all.
The year is 1949, and Erik Lehnsherr's in his seventh year at Hogwarts, as yet unaware that his world is about to change.

From tumblr here: The Photographer’s Muse (Meme) takes place in London, England. This is where we find famous Jewish photographer, Erik Lehnsherr. Erik Lehnsherr is the great grandson of Holocaust Survivor and Pulitzer Prize Winner writer-artist, Edie Lehnsherr. Photographer’s Muse begins on a cold, dreary London evening when Erik finds a beautiful young male prostitute huddled around the corner of his apartment building. The shivering boy is clutching a well-worn copy of Hamlet. Erik is bemused and decides to give the boy shelter. After paying for Charles to take off his clothes; Erik is enticed by the milky white flawless young flesh. And within a few days, 16 year old Charles becomes his greatest muse. Soon Erik realizes that this new collection would be his greatest. And informs Charles; that it will also be his last. Because Erik is planning on committing suicide. Now Charles must do his best to save the man that gave him a new life; and stole his heart.

There is only so long he can spend drinking his sorrows away before his liver eventually calls it a day and fucks off to liver-heaven. Or something. Erik doesn't understand why Charles left him, or why he thinks he was sleeping with someone else. it was like he had vanished from the face of the planet the moment he had walked out the door. Which made the fact that Erik had only been working late to save up for the best, handmade engagement ring money could buy sting just that little bit more. He'd designed it to be perfect, and he still hadn’t saved up enough to get the guy in Argentina to even consider making it yet. Not that Charles knew that... Oops.

Summary
Charles is kicked out of the Westchester manor by his mother claiming he needs to learn “independence” and be truly on his own for the first time in his life. Heeding Sharon, he moves into a one-bedroom apartment in a building owned by superhusbands Tony and Steve Stark-Rogers, attempting to find a job and become a self-sufficient young mutant. With time, he comes to be acquainted with the building’s varied occupants and deal with the suicide of his sister Cassandra and his brother Martin running away from home years before the start of the story, along with his own depression and the turmoil-heavy times as mutants fight for their rights and say in government. Along with the apartment, comes the guardian cat statue, Ghost, and the out-of-body dreams he has many nights, during which he meets the spirits of the dead attached to the building or its residents.
Furthermore, Charles meets his grouchy upstairs neighbor, Erik Lehnsherr, who he finds himself falling in love with despite the man’s constant rebukes and scornful attitude toward monogamy. In the midst of Charles’ journey toward true independence and self-discovery, his brother’s surprise arrival threatens his progress and any further growth.

The house stood on one of the hills, overlooking a beautiful lake and a rose garden that the alpha of the house took special pride in. They weren't rich, but neither were they poor and they lived a calm, content life, satisfied with what they had. They didn't even realize that something was missing from their lives until one day the woman realized a new life was growing inside her. Their happiness knew no bounds and they waited with impatience for the day when their young would look up at them with bright eyes.
So begins the story of Charles, nicknamed 'Cinderella' by the cruel step-brothers and step-father that took over the house when Charles' parents died. Despite their best efforts, Charles kept his belief in dreams and happy endings. Nursing one final flower from his father's now decrepit garden, Charles works as a servant to his step-family. When the opportunity to go to a ball arrives, Charles seizes it with both hands, with some help from his mouse friends Raven and Thor as well as his fairy godmother.
