Hungry Redux by eoen
NCIS
Summary
This is a rewrite of Hungry. It shares a few large bits of text, but there's an actual plot in this one and it's not as rushed.

Summary
Sequel to my first story, Post Obsession Conversation, second installment in the FIOverse. Gibbs/DiNozzo slash. Gibbs and Tony try to figure out where their relationship is headed after the revelations in Gibbs' basement. The team helps. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious. Explicit material doesn't show up until about chapter 7; violence isn't until much later in the story and isn't really all that graphic, but better safe than sorry! 36 chapter, complete, posting them all here as I find time.
This story goes AU after the season 7 episode Obsession... the Mexico story line never happened, and Tony was never engaged to Wendy. Other than that, details of how Tony and Gibbs met in Baltimore remain the same as on the show.

Summary
This picks up just about a week after FIO ends, and references lots of events from that story, so I definitely recommend reading that one first. FIO was about Gibbs and Tony starting up a serious, romantic relationship, much to their own surprise, and Second Law is about them settling in and continuing to figure out how to balance the different aspects of their lives. This is therefore certainly a slash story!
This series goes AU right after the season 7 episode Obsession; the Mexico storyline never happened.

They are back in the 'real world' and NCIS tackle their first case after returning from Atlantis
This is a direct sequel to ‘Hiding in Plain Sight’ http://xanthestories.livejournal.com/29508.html – it’s not necessary to have read the story (though, as it’s my favourite feel good story, definitely recommended) and events get referred to

Westley: I mean, if we only had a wheelbarrow, that would be something.
Inigo Montoya: Where we did we put that wheelbarrow the albino had?
Fezzik: Over the albino, I think.
Westley: Well, why didn't you list that among our assets in the first place?

Summary
DiNozzo has always looked up to Gibbs as a father figure. But after the Frog debacle and a year full of lies and deception, Tony realizes the grave error he’s made all these years – he never asked if Gibbs wanted the job in the first place. Enter disgraced marine Damon Werth, the man who couldn’t be more Gibbs-Junior if he tried. And it’s like Tony is eleven again, teetering on the edge of abandonment, fighting to hold on even though he knows he’ll lose again. Except 'abandoned' isn't all that Tony is feeling. How screwed up must he be to feel both jealous of and attracted to one guy at the same time? AU set after S5E10 (Corporal Punishment)

It's SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), except there was nothing standard about being shot, trapped and possibly hunted down within NCIS. Being locked in also means you can't get out.
