The feeling of being out of place washes over you once again, and it actually feels worse than it did when Jade first left your side since getting here. If your drink was still in your hand, now would have been a perfect time to take a large swig and look nonchalant. You silently scold yourself for abandoning it earlier.

Organized in story chronological rather than as written order.

They started as sparring partners. A way for Fury to force Natasha to associate with someone other than Phil and Clint, to try to insure she connected with SHIELD members to so she wouldn't be so quick to abandon ship at her very first opportunity. Fury probably didn't expect their sparring to lead up to this.
Natasha/Maria & some subtle, blink-and-you'll-miss-it Phil/Clint.

Dave is the new kid, an ironic jock, and a cool mystery. He's intrigued by the quiet kid and it isn't long before he develops a crush. Even though John's friends make it difficult for Dave to get close to him, but the cool kid is determined.
This is the story of two boys who stumble through the awkwardness of young love and a communication barrier. Meanwhile a rejected friend and a stubborn brother meet and struggle to understand their own feelings.

James Vega was not an ME3 love interest, and after the wonderful flirtatious banter given to us...that was a shame.
A collection of connected 'situation fics' I've written and may continue to write in one particular imagined story arc of a Female Shepard/James Vega romance, both within the game and beyond. Each 'chapter' is it's own short story and organized chronologically (rather than 'order written') and may be re-ordered as new stories are written. Mostly R (for sexual content and language) but there is a few NC-17-flavored chapters included.
Contains spoilers up through the end of ME3 and a deviation from the 'canon' ending.
