Summary
A thin boy with shaggy hair dances through the field of fragile white flowers, the flora paying no mind to his swaying limbs as they greedily took in the fading sunlight.
A deep, rumbling growl sounds from the forest, making the frolicking teenager still. He swivels his body in the direction of the sound, his honey-colored eyes spotting a tall, dark figure lurking in the shadows.
"Derek?" he calls, his mouth falling open in a comically exaggerated expression.
A large, muscled form steps into view, blood dripping down his face. The maroon liquid is also leaking from his chest and neck, smearing across his stomach and seeping out of deep gashes. He stares at the teenager with wide, stricken eyes, all anger wipe from his face. "Stiles?" The voice that escapes this man is weak, broken, as if the name was physically ripped from his throat. -

Summary
When Stiles convinces Scott to go look for a dead body in the preserve they are attacked by a monster. Scott dies, but Stiles doesn't. Instead, he's turned into a werewolf. With the help of the mysterious Derek Hale, Stiles hunts down the Alpha Werewolf who bit him and killed Scott to exact revenge.
This is my version of the events of season one if Stiles were bitten, and Scott died. This is also a character study on Stiles, and possibly Derek if I decide to do multiple points of view.

It's weird how much Derek didn't think about sex with Stiles before. Because, now that they've acknowledged that this thing between them is actually something good, it's all Derek can think of.
Thinking about Stiles at the general store, becomes thinking about dragging Stiles into the stockroom at the general store. Thinking about Stiles at Erica's bar, becomes body shots and licking salt off Stiles' skin. If Derek sees Stiles at the stoplight again, he isn't sure he'll be able to resist dragging Stiles from his jeep so he can take him up against his truck. So, it's a relief when their next meeting happens somewhere private. And yeah, 'private' is a relative term for the side trail where he takes his early morning run, but still.

“I know,” Mom says, rocking him gently. He hiccups against her shoulder. “I know, I know. But he's safe now.”
“Who did it?” Stiles asks, accepting a box of tissues from his mother. “They're still out there, whoever did it, right? How's Dad gonna find them?” His eyes widen. “What if they take him again?”
“Genim-”
“I'll kill them,” Stiles swears, suddenly furious, his balled-up tissue clenched tight in his fist. “Anyone tries to mess with him again, I'll kill them. Just try and see.”

Something Derek’s only gotten glimpses of here and there; first setting Peter on fire, then offering several times to let Jackson be killed when he was still the kanima, again with the Alphas, and then with Cora when Cora tried to betray them. It was something sinister that existed just below the surface, like it was always there just waiting for the slightest bit of provocation.
