Summary
And then Will Stanton who's still sixteen sets down the green glaze teacup and kneels in front of Bran Davies in the centre of a quartered cross and bows his head. And for some reason it doesn't seem as unnatural as it should, even when he says 'My lord, I've come to take you home.'

Summary
He set aside the pile of undergraduate essays he'd been marking, leaning against the window to stare out of it for a while, watching Wales unfold welcoming before him. At least, he mused, that was how it felt – like the prodigal son returning to his father's fold. It was different from going home, where he could feel the fields of Buckinghamshire folding around him whenever he went back to see his parents, but it was similar, too. I know you, the land seemed to say. I remember you. You belong here.

Summary
"It was a rarely-felt disappointment that she was an artist without being anything more, but the nature of safe havens meant that they were separate from the dangerous things. An Ellen with the gift of prophecy would be worth knowing, but the Ellen who was married to Dr. Drew and had three charming children was worth knowing too." (Excerpted from Three from The Track.)
