Of course Thor has to ruin it by being a brat but if Loki is lucky Thor will learn a lesson. If Thor is lucky he'll get his powers back. And if they're both lucky they'll have love to last an Asgardian lifetime.

After finding out the attack on earth was not totally Loki’s fault his sentence is reduced to a relatively minor one. But just when Loki is banished to banality, things no one expected begin to happen. Unfortunately for the Avengers, Loki’s return to earth has brought out Loki’s eldest and most fearsome son, Jormugandr. Interested only in making his mother suffer, Jormugandr teams up with other notorious villains with dreams of bringing down SHIELD for profit and for the lols.
Including: Tony and Steve’s relationship as it unfolds… slowly, Thor and Loki’s reconciliation, Natasha asks Barton for sperm, Bruce and Jane have stuff in common, Fenrir falls in love with Darcy, and Jim Moriarty attacks Tony Stark.
Slight warning for semi-bestiality, Fenrir is a giant wolf really and that is not totally gone even when he appears human.

Summary
A what if story, featuring the death of Odin. Odin dies trying to explain to Loki about the deception of his birth. Loki, suddenly the King of Asgard, must learn to be something he isn't. Thor must learn to be human, without ever knowing what is it to be a hero. (Starts off in Thor, and spans Iron Man 2 and the Avengers with some seriously dramatic plot differences).

Done for a prompt on avengerkink ‘With the exciting news that Chris Hemsworth is having a baby in the spring, as well as RDJ, let's have some Iron Man and Thor facing off in a "my super honor student baby can kick your super honor student baby's ass" contest. (And then Loki's on the side playing with the babies going, "psshh, they both like me better anyways.")
Natural or mpreg or adoption or lab experiment are all okay with me. I *prefer* Thor/Loki for the Thor/other pairing, but as long as they are on good enough terms for him to be Awesome Uncle Loki it's fine.’This focuses more on the pregnant daddies but whatever, Thor and Tony arguing in a restaurant while their pregnant partners eat pudding. Darcy and Loki are there as well.
