After suffering and surviving severe physical and psychological abuse, Anders' mind copes the only way it can - by sectioning off what happened and suppressing it. Now Anders, an ER doctor, remains oblivious to the torture he was subjected to and the lapses in his memory. When a slightly broody and strange man comes into his life, he falls head over heels infatuated. And it's returned.
But there's always something there, simmering beneath the surface, like his lover knows more about him than he's letting on and that his protective nature over him isn't entirely unjustified.
And there's someone waiting for him, itching for the perfect opportunity to escape and finish what they started.

Mostly Fenris/F!Hawke/Sebastian triangle and eventual Fenders. Angsty, triggery, slightly AU in places, very depressing in others.
Kind of like a very long look at how Fenris and Anders' relationship evolves over DA2. Very, very dark, and a very toxic/volatile relationship.

His body acts as it did back then, orgasming on demand. When Fenris wakes up the battle is over and Anders won't stop mocking for having taken a break right in the middle of it to come in his leggings. Eventually Fenris snaps and Anders realises what it is he's been mocking.
