Summary
Albert was not one for sentiment, for overwrought declaration, or even for smiling on most days. He generally did not hold onto things because ultimately, circumstances changed, theories were proven wrong, people revealed their true selves.

Summary
Albert doesn’t believe in ‘meant to be’. They don’t naturally mesh: Cooper wanted to do over the guest room with reed matting and make a meditation room; Albert wanted to make an office. So they built an office with a Zen garden. Albert appreciates sleek, modern furniture; Cooper likes Eastern antiques. So now their apartment is decked out in sleekly modern furniture imported from Tibet. Albert prefers quiet when he sleeps; Cooper drifts off listening to Tuvan throat singing. Albert has gotten used to earplugs. At each turn, one or both of them have seen their way through to a solution. The result is not so much a ‘normal life’ as it is a life that’s right for them, and insane for everyone else.

Summary
Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire, I hold with those that favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that ice is also great, and would suffice.

Pre-canon. My take on the 'undercover in a gay bar' scene from Cooper's biography My Life, My Tapes, as an attempt to explain how Cooper and Albert might have hooked up.

Pre-canon case-gone-awry fic, mostly fluff/humor, with a sprinkling of angst and a touch of h/c. Can be seen as preslash, or gen with UST, whichever floats your boat. -
