No one ever considered that sometimes it was hard to tell the two apart
...until the JLA brought into their midst a mystery from their past.The Green Lantern investigates a rumored 'ghost' that has suddenly sprung up around a small town. The wind creature is revealed to be a young man; in fact, a speedster. Problem solved?
Maybe not.
Allen is a complete mystery. He won't or can't talk about where he came from. His i.d. is fake. Records past a month old--when he showed up in Kansas--can't be found...anywhere. In fact, there is no solid evidence that "Allen" exists at all.
Except, perhaps, for a single engraved message on an old school memento...and an elusive memory within the mind of The Martian Manhunter.Meanwhile, across much of the continental U.S. temperatures are above normal.

Summary
Superman is a very powerful being. That power is usually coupled with the morals of a Boy Scout. However, what inner turmoil does a near-invincible man go through? Is his character deeper than it would appear? Who is Superman, really?
This was written because, while Superheroes are awesome, Superman was always TOO good, TOO just. Characters like Batman are intriguing because of the shades and shadows they navigate in their lives. Here are the supposed inner musings of the Man of Steel, just to make him more interesting than the wholesome Kansas farmboy he appears to be. Sorry about the angst.
