Summary
The Wolf prefers to slip unnoticed into the shadows, to work from the darkened corners of the room rather than the lightened spaces nearest to those who were whole and good. The Wolf prefers to cut the lights just as much as he prefers to cut throats or bodies. The Wolf prefers that intruders didn't stamp all over his den before threatening what was quickly becoming his prized possession.
The Wolf preferred blood over apologies any day.
