Summary
When he loses his horse just before a race, Richard Grey is offered a replacement by a stranger chance-met on the road. Unable to return his gift horse, accused by Armus of riding a ghost or demon for his new mount's speed and unusual appearance, Richard starts out on the road towards finding his own place in life.
