Rin isn’t sure what to say next because he wants everything. He wants to have sex with Haru in baths and in hotel rooms, on the sleepless nights before their races and in the jubilant afterwards. He wants to give Haru any pleasure he desires, on romantic evenings after dates and in the mornings in between household chores. He wants to know Haru’s body as well as he knows his own.
He tries to keep an eye on everyone, really he does, but they don't make it easy. Being the lone human at a party full of supernaturals means Stiles is the only one not drinking - not that "drinking" properly encompasses everything happening at this insane bonfire party. And even then he's not too sure, but at Peter's horrible (why do they even let him come?) example the Beacon Hills extended pack seems to be more than happy to 'try first, ask questions later' tonight.
(a.k.a. an excuse to get Derek drunk.)

“Subject has been secured for examination,” Bruce said in a bored, clinical tone. He scratched down a few notes on his clipboard before setting it aside and reaching up. He ran one broad hand over Tony’s wrists, feeling the restraints there, binding him to the bed frame. “Currently, hands show no sign of discoloration or bruising.” He trailed his fingertips town over Tony’s bare arms and smirked at the man beneath him.
- Part 1 of React
“The problem is Derek,” he began.
Cora snorted in a particularly unladylike fashion. “When isn’t it?”
He turned serious eyes on her. “Unfortunately, in this case, Derek has also caused trouble for our family, as well as young Miss Stilinski.”
At that, Cora’s features sharpened, and she leaned forward. “What’s he done now, and what do we need to do about it?”
Peter huffed. “He bedded his intended, and if he had merely done so, we’d have precious little trouble on our hands, for he’s hardly the first to take his wife-to-be to bed before the wedding.”
“I’m not going to like what I hear next, am I?”
“You’re going to positively hate it."
He looked up at her, and all he felt was tired. “This is my problem, not theirs. I never wanted to have heats, and I extra never wanted anyone to help me through them. I’m an adult. It’s no one else’s job to take care of me.”
Lydia Martin may have been a beta and proud of it, but the unyielding fury in her voice would have made any alpha proud. “What you are experiencing is not normal. This much pain and fever is indicative of wild hormonal fluctuations, and that is dangerous. You are going to tell me who you want me to call, because it would be irresponsible of me to leave you like this. What alpha would you be most comfortable with helping you?”

“Put Peter on the phone,” Stiles says, too sharp to be polite.
“What?” Derek sounds completely thrown. “Stiles, I don’t think— Okay, you’re obviously not understanding what’s happening here. Peter isn’t talking. He’s basically just growling at this point, and he’s rounding on anyone that gets too close. He actually bit me when I tried to take back my pillow. I nearly lost a thumb.”
“Derek.” The reality of this shitshow of a situation is finally kicking in, undeniably, and Stiles needs to hear Peter’s voice. “Just trust the omega, okay? Tell him it’s me, and give him the damn phone.”

When Stiles gets thrown into the bank vault about twenty minutes after him, Derek isn’t even surprised.
As it turns out, neither is Stiles.
