Loki takes his revenge for a long ago slight, and Odin decides to send him away to Midgard so he can learn what it means to go without, to depend on others and scrape at the edges. To be hungry.
Yet, Loki is a child, quick witted besides, he must be kept from turning it all to his advantage, and Odin is not willing to strip even more knowledge from his adopted son's mind. So his heritage is revealed gently, and told it will keep him safe from the biting winters. His powers will return as he becomes more worthy, and he will return to Asgard as a Prince ought.

LET'S GET TYPICAL because I have a secret kink for high school drama AUs.
The usual cliche, Loki's unpopular and disliked for being thin and odd and tricky, but he's intelligent and sweet to babies and children and such (we can even put in his most 'embarrassing' secret as wanting to have kids or something) and Thor is the jock who probably screws him over royally before realizing how huge of a jerk he's being (either without meaning it or regretting it) and going through very teenager-y lengths to make Loki feel better and to get the guy to forgive him.
MAKE IT CLICHE. INCLUDE SCHOOL DANCES AND BULLYING AND THE USUAL DRAMA, PUT IN AS MANY OTHER MARVEL CHARACTERS AS YOU WANT, JUST PLEASE <3

Deanon from Norsekinkmeme. Loki is pregnant, coming back as an exile in chains from the final events from the Avengers movie. Nobody seems to know about his ongoing pregnancy, nor the father of the child. Loki doesn't know how to handle it, from bearing the child, to his constant thoughts that he will be killed, surely, for the crimes he had committed.
But what is he to do when he's welcomed back home with open arms? What if, although still at fault for the horrors he had done in childish vengeance, his old friends, his family, still missed him so incredibly? Would Loki have the growing courage to speak of the unborn child? And, above all else, would he manage to fix the broken bond and heart he once had with not only Thor, but with himself?

To summarize it: Loki has a half-mortal daughter called Ragna. She lives on Earth and is about to get married to Tony (not! Stark), her boyfriend of five years. They are happy until the future Father-in-Law shows up and complicates things.
There will be a lot of confusion about Ragna's origins (Quote: "Did you know that in our homeland it's a custom for the husband to fight off wolves naked in the middle of winter to win the wife's hand?"), her family (Quote: "Mostly, when she got like that, I'd hand her a grandchild and run."), a fully-grown rampage of our God of Mischief and some expectations (“So when will we be expecting an heir?") poor Tony will have to deal with.
