Summary
Even Fraser had agreed, if a little resignedly, and Ray had felt like total crap for asking Fraser to bluff and mislead and prevaricate and anything else short of outright lying, even though he knew Fraser did it all the time. It was different if Ray and Vecchio were asking him to.

Summary
So the general phenomena remained the same -- a suit, a uniform, and a ghost -- while the particular instances had shifted position.
(Mix and Match challenge: This is NOT a typical AU--you can't go and make Fraser a Roman, or put him on the Enterprise, but you can make him switch places with one of the known DS characters, or as wistful put it, you can move the characters around on the board, but you have to STAY on the board. Swap people around, in other words. )

Summary
Summary: From this prompt at st_xi_kink: "The Star Trek theme was awesome. It deserves an awesome Musician AU in it's honor.
My thought is SpockxKirk AU where they are both musicians. I totally see Spock as first chair violin, and Kirk as a crazy band guy - maybe as percussion, cause those guys were always the most fun. They're both part of an Orchestra group ensemble thing, and they're scoring a soundtrack for a movie.
Bonus points if you get in
cute Cello playing Sulu x Flute playing Chekov." -

Such a great character study in just over 200 words. I come back to it again and again.
