Summary
Castiel Novak was orphaned at the age of eight and forced to live with his stepmother, stepbrother and stepsister. He is as kind and gentle as he is wise and beautiful. Despite the horrible circumstances that his stepmother foists upon him, Castiel remains true to himself. His gentleness works miracles in the lives of all around him, including the Crown Prince of England.
Dean Winchester, Crown Prince of England, was born to a life of privilege which unfortunately also came with specific obligations. The most important one requires that he marry. Eventually, Dean is able to strike a bargain with his father on the matter of his marriage. He has one month to find the love he desires to have in order to marry, or he shall have to wed Prince Gabriel of France, the betrothed his father had arranged for him.

Dean and Sam investigate a series of murders in Surprise, Arizona, when Castiel's ghost starts following them around. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad - except only Dean can see him, and the angel's completely oblivious to who he is and what he's done. When he regains his memory, he teaches Dean a thing or two about the meaning of friendship and the consequences of Free Will.

Dean runs the elevators in the same company (and Castiel is quite not so incidentally in love with him) and he's dating the boss's niece. The situation comes to drastic consequences. But then again it's the way it crumbles, cookie-wise.
