Summary
When she was feeling sad, she would close her eyes and think about all the miles she had travelled and how, no matter what destination she reached, it never felt like the right one. It never felt like home and she was beginning to wonder if "home" was even a place.
The countdown in his head was always wrong and it perturbed him- the digits chipped away at themselves, second by second, but he knew they would never reach zero. His internal clock was broken and wouldn’t stop resetting, like whatever it was meant to herald had gone wrong and needed to begin again.
One single timeline has unseen influence on all other existing timelines, even if they never directly intersect.
This story is long and involves various pairings, but the only one that really matters is Dave/Jade. Essentially, it is a collection of Dave/Jade AUs gone horribly, horribly wrong in an unusual and convoluted sadstuck.
