I know it's a big trope to have them "pretend" to get married for a job but I'd love to see them TRY to get married for real. One thing and then another keeps getting in the way. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter that they don't have the piece of paper. They have each other and they have this strange life together (even when they aren't) and they're happy. Very happy.
