In which Loki accidentally (awkwardly) turns The Avengers and himself (but not Tony) into four-year-old versions of themselves, and is the only one of the children who is actually able to keep his adult brain. The others? …Not so much.

Summary
t's incredibly common nowadays to see D/s fic where one character or another assures someone else that it "doesn't have to be sexual," even if we all know it's going to end up that way. As an asexual who is incredibly interested in the D/s culture, this is pretty discouraging to me.
What I would like to see is Clint as a sub, either knowing it at the start or finding a Dom who would like to help him explore it, but is unwilling to get into the sexual side of things. Simply not interested. He just needs someone to keep him in line and make him feel safe after a life of going through some horrible things virtually alone. Loki's influence was just the straw that broke the camel's back even if he doesn't realize it. Whether this is D/s 'verse or not is up to the author.

The year is 1947 and Howard Stark and Maria Carbonell are falling in love to the tune of New York, photographs of places they've been stashed carefully between the pages of a scrapbook.
The year is 2012 and Steve Rogers and Tony Stark are falling in love to pages of a scrapbook, their feet finding ground in each of the places Maria and Howard had stood without even realizing it. -

Summary
"I'm sorry, Clint." Fury does this thing where he pretends he's a normal person in order to extend normal human emotions, like sympathy. Who buys it? Does anybody buy it? Is Clint expected to buy it? "You are one of the best agents we've ever had. This was not an easy decision to make but ultimately, it was my call, and I have to do what's best for the entire organization."
"Right," he says flatly. "I get it." What else can he say? He is compromised. For all he knows, he's a sleeper agent now. Nobody should trust him.
