Natasha Romanov is restless. Stuck in New York City after a post-mission psychiatric evaluation determines that she needs time out of the field, she's already chafing at the restrictions involved. Worse still, Hawkeye has been in Hong Kong for the past few months, sent on a mission without her. Uneasy when Barton fails to check in with her for a few days despite contacting S.H.I.E.L.D with updates, she begins to notice the many hollow spaces that he has left behind. When contact is suspended altogether, it isn't difficult to conclude that something is very wrong.
