Summary
She had the distinct sensation of reaching into a swift brook: she could catch water for a moment in her cupped hands, but it inevitably ran out in a matter of minutes. It felt like that, trying to speak to Taran, trying to hold on to him. He had been her boon companion, once, and now he slipped between her grasping fingers.
