Once there they are scheduled to remain and assist with the early stages of setting up the colony. Kirk's liaison is his 'old friend' Ambassador Spock, now known as Elder Sepak, who takes the opportunity to help Kirk and Spock become better acquainted.

And, of course, some Kirk/McCoy fluff.This is cliche, and gets real purple-prosy at the end, features an intoxicated Jim and one day I'll get something run past a beta but that day isn't today. Being a good Starfleet officer and obeying all those spaces, all those goddamn inches and miles between her body and Leonard’s with only their eyes able to bridge the chasm.
