Summary
The Negotiator is a about a decorated Lt in the police force that was accussed of killing his partner and take a bribe. At the end of his rope Danny Roman takes hostages and asks for Chris Sabian to act as the negotiator. Together the two men expose the corruption from the higest postion in the police force to the lowest.
This story takes place a couple of months after end of the movie and deals with the aftereffects of what they have both went through.There is a corresponding story called Breathless from Danny Roman's point of view.
