Of course, like so many before her, just when she thought she was out of the world of freaks it comes crashing back in. Literally. The trickster she used to travel with just crash-landed in her dorm room.
Gabriel comes bearing grim news, forcing Fallon to return to her hometown to investigate the deaths of several women in the area. She goes with him, not exactly sure why he doesn't leave it to the hunters.
Cue herself and her Mother becoming targets.
A story of mystery, adventure, vengeance and family ties as told by Chuck Shurley, Prophet and occasional Butt Monkey.

He dumped the cleaner out and filled it with water. He angled himself so that the water would form a rainbow, gods he hoped the connection would be good.

Summary
This is an AU where everyone save adults, immortals and other non-humans, have been genderbent. So the gods and the Hunters of Artemis, and Grover and Chiron and Kronos are all their canon gender, but Percy and Annabeth and all the other demigods are now the opposite gender. This will deviate from canon in some places, aside from the obvious, and I'm not doing the whole book, just those scenes and circumstances I feel would be significantly or interestingly changed by flipping the gender, along with a few important lead-up points, of which this is one. I may have them behave OOC in some parts, but please keep in mind that while gender wouldn't necessarily change the personality, it would change the way they were treated and seen, and at times behaved, because there is rather a lot of double standards in modern U.S., and some may be touched upon in this. Percy is now Phaedra, Nancy Bobofit is now Nathan, and when they come in the other characters will have similarly switched names. A few sentences and the dialog was taken directly from Rick Riordan's book, and I don't own that, but this will stop happening once I get to like the fourth installment. I think that's it, so carry on
