You don't have to know Ender's Game to understand this. Think of it as a hard sci-fi AU (that I can't believe I'm writing).
In order to prepare for the Third Invasion, the brightest young minds of Earth are taken to the orbiting Battle School to learn strategy, leadership, and zero-g combat. From the beginning, Major Monogram and the other teachers pay special attention to Phineas Flynn and his friends. He may be the key to saving humanity, if they can just shake his damnable respect for all life. This is harder than they could have imagined.
The adults say that war is a game. They're lying to you.
(Meanwhile, Heinz Doofenshmirtz tries to take over the world via blogosphere. This goes as well as expected.)
