Summary
After the divorce of Brian and Sharon Xavier, Charles applies to the Juilliard School and is immediately accepted. The school is honored to have the protege of Emma Frost attending their school, but not everybody is as impressed with him. Charles doesn't care that he is probably taking the spot of someone who is more deserving than him, as long as he gets away from his parents then he is golden.
Erik is now entering his third year at Juilliard as one of their best dancers and is appalled when he hears that Charles Xavier is attending here now, believing him to be no better than another privilege, snobby, bratty, greedy, little rich boy. At least he lives off campus and doesn't have to deal with the kid every single day.
But, if Raven has anything to do about it than it isn't going to be that easy.

In an effort to get out from under the thumb of his step-father, Charles chooses to become a courtesan for several minor nobles in King Erik's court. It is not long before he attracts the eye of the young king, and the Cardinal who holds the young king's ear. Charles spends months working to secure his place as King Erik's favorite and to regain his father's title of Merchant Prince. Charles hopes to disprove the old adage that once you enter the king's bed, you have nowhere to go but down.
A historical AU with alpha/omega dynamics (no heat). Not nearly as dark as the warnings might make it sound.

Erik Lehnsherr is a visiting professor at Columbia University, as well as an acclaimed and award winning poet. Charles Xavier is a lead researcher with the Genetics Department who is well on his way to tenure. But what happens when Charles has to cancel a class because half his students abandon him in favour of a mysterious new English Lit professor? Naturally he ends up sitting in in the class, where Professor Lehnsherr mistakes him for a student. It's really too bad Erik has such a strict policy against dating students. It's also too bad Erik doesn't seem to know how to use Google.
