Based off a drawing I found on Tumblr with Erik in the black bathrobe looking down at a miniature Charles with wings wearing a toga and sandals.
Charles is Erik's guardian angel and they become fast friends when Charles arrives through Erik's bedroom window one night. They grow up together, attending school and causing ruckus on Erik's family farm. Neither have any idea of the Nazis' plan to march on Poland. When the time comes, Charles faces his doom with Erik as they walk through the gates that claim will set them free. Years later, Charles tries his best to keep Erik from his plans to destroy Shaw, but is brushed off rather than listened to. When they meet Moira, Charles fears for his place in Erik's life as everything spirals out of his control.
