Zayn is the present head of the Malik coven and used to be a half breed born to the former head of the coven and his human soulmate before.They had decided that Zayn would be turned into a full fledged vampire by his soulmate who turned out to be the son of the Former head of the Payne Cove. Liam fell for Zayn the time he laid his eyes on the exotic raven beauty and Zayn had eyes only for Liam, his promised one, his soulmate. Then, Niall came into the scene and Zayn doesn’t like to share and yeah, go figure.
He doesn’t blame anyone for anything but leaves Liam to take his Fathers place as the head of the his clan. -

La sepoltura fu relativamente veloce e quando tutti abbandonarono il cimitero, Kilian si permise di avvicinarsi e di salutare a sua volta l’ultimo membro della sua famiglia.
Aveva ovviamente smesso di credere in Dio, ma era certo che ci fosse una vita dopo la morte... un qualcosa di non tanto differente dalla sua maledizione, ma indubbiamente positiva - poteva chiamarsi ‘paradiso’ o con tanti altri nomi, il senso era però quello.
Kilian non riuscì a trattenere un mezzo sorriso davanti alla sua lapide accompagnata da una foto quasi sbiadita che lo ritraeva. L’epitaffio, ancora ben leggibile, riportava un delle tristi e toccanti frasi come: " Kilian Durin. Amato figlio e fratello, venuto prematuramente a mancare all’affetto dei suoi cari..."
Tutte parole di rito che non servivano minimamente a consolare chi restava in vita.
Si rivolse poi alle tombe di sua madre e di suo zio, per soffermarsi poi su quella più nuova di suo fratello. -
