Summary
The boys find themselves on a case that turns out way bigger than they thought. Like, second apocalypse type big. A very old, very powerful demon is creating huge witch covens to end the world "like Lucifer didn't." And in the middle of it all, Dean and Cas have some serious UST problems. Then Gabriel decides to step back in, it all goes downhill faster than anyone thought possible.
Set in a parallel timeline after 'Remember The Titans" where Bobby is still alive, Cas is still an active part of their life, and Gabriel was faking his death.

Most of the time it stays carefully hidden: Dean wears clothing like armor, layers of fabric obscuring the steel ball chain that dips down under them like dog tags, the pulsing light in the crystal vial at the end reduced to a whisper, only noticed by creatures who recoil from its presence.
