Summary
The pale answer to the "Fuck Or Die" scenario.
With only death and imprisonment to look forward to in the great Troll Empire, Sollux and Karkat sign on to a desperate plan to escape their fates on Alternia. However, upon finally making it to the yet unconquered borders, they discover that trolls are appreciated even less outside of the Empire than they are within. Captured and enslaved by an alien species, Karkat finds his ability to sooth Sollux's broken mind is the deciding factor in whether his best friend lives or dies.

For this prompt from the kink meme, which goes a little something like this:
Rarely, a person is born with the ability to shapeshift into animal forms, with the form(s) they can take determined by what animals they grew up with and had emotional bonds with and understanding of. Therefore, most shapeshifters take the forms of domestic animals like cats and dogs.
Once a shapeshifter is identified, they soon disappear, be it to labs for research or to billionaires as exotic collectibles. Especially if the form they can take is in any way unusual.

Seriously? What the hell was that? Because putting a collar on someone was supposed to make them manageable or something? Sure thing.

Again with the control issues. But then again betas were by far the most common classification type, so Stiles assumed that was mainly posted to keep things kind of even.

At Azazel's suggestion, Erik purchases Charles's contract in an attempt to glean information about Shaw's not-quite-legal banking practices. Azazel is surprisingly unconcerned when that doesn't quite play out how they expect it to.

Erik and his group somehow end up trapped on the remote lands owned by the deranged wealthy alpha Sebastian Shaw. Erik and the other alphas are dropped into the wilderness to survive while Shaw hunts them down for sport. Erik knows he can't leave until he finds his omega, Charles, whom he knows Shaw must be keeping somewhere. Allying with other alphas, they try to survive, fight back, and in the process discover the true extent of Shaw's depravity.
Summary: When Shaw pulls the ragged survivors off their lifeboat he is instantly smitten with the omega Charles Xavier.
