Life's a bitch, Shepard realises, and it's getting sick kicks in standing in his way every time he tries to tell Kaidan just how he really feels. And when Kaidan's home-life goes from picture-perfect to something even he would run away from, there's no other alternative but to swallow his feelings and be there as his best friend's rock.

Okay, maybe it's a bit more complicated in the end, and he should probably have known that (like he should have known to not leave his gay porn on his laptop that one time, or that apparently he has a thing for slightly cocky boys with huge eyes and high cheekbones). Set after Season 1; Derek plans a distant summer trip for Scott&Stiles to train/bond. Derek has questionable training methods, which leads to a rather confused Stiles. A female OC character is introduced and things get mighty twisted. The whole story is rather emotional. I don't really want to give away too much of the storyline in the summary; just know that Sterek will prevail. Also, I like to imagine the wolves 'Dog Soldiers' or even 'Skyrim' style when fully changed. You know, that bipedal, wolfish, and rather frightening werewolf type.
"They were going down to the beach soon, it was getting dark, and ah, fuck, these were all the wrong reasons for consuming alcohol. 'Oh well,' he thought, 'bottoms up, liquid courage!' He silently screwed off the top and took four gigantic gulps. His eyes grew wide as he quickly put the cover back on and sat the bottle down, falling against the wall comically and trying not to vomit.
The boys heard a bit of a ruckus from the kitchen, still seated at their dinners. Scott looked at Derek, "The hell is he doing back there?!" and they both chuckled."
