Greta Salpeter is a recent music school graduate and amateur burlesque singer who gets the idea of becoming a drag queen after being inspired by a Edith Piaf loving queen named Emanuelle. When she's about ready to give up after continuous rejection, she meets a strange performer named Jack Jillian who agrees to help Greta with her dream. Through Jack, she meets the matronly Maya T.
