"Across the globe many pirates were notorious for their craft but by far the most infamous of band of pirates was the crew of the great ship the Avenger. No, it was not for their cruelty or for their blunder. These were no ordinary rats of the sea. Whisper the Avengers and any cake eater will weep and cringe. Lead by their fearless captain the crew would steal from the rich and give to the poor. A merry band of robin hoods upon the hallowed seas. Is there a better way to be known and feared? Yet, even in their spotlight, not a single soul had actually seen what the crew. At least not until they got involved with a certain inventor."

When Tony Stark invited his fellow team mates to take out a floor each in his tower, he was not expecting Steve Rogers to bring home a wet and bedraggled kitten. Or to find Clint Barton regularly on his roof in only a blanket, or to strike up a drinking partnership with Loki because no one else is intelligent enough to keep up with either of them. Somehow he's still surprised when Natasha tries to teach the kitten ninja moves.
He's even more surprised when Steve keeps bringing up old scars. A man so lost in time isn't supposed to remind Tony about all the things he'd rather forget, let alone encourage Tony to fall in love with him.
Tony Stark is pretty sure somewhere Charles Xavier is laughing at him.

Tony nie mógł się nadziwić temu, że ten cały „romans z wrogiem” nadal nie wyszedł na jaw. Jego towarzysze broni nie byli idiotami, ale żadne z nich nie połączyło ze sobą kilku prostych faktów. Na przykład tego, że każda osoba, którą Tony przyprowadza ze sobą do pokoju zawsze znika niepostrzeżenie, nim Stark się obudzi. Albo, że wokół Iron-man’a zbierają się zielone iskry, gdy jego życie jest poważnie zagrożone. Albo, że Tony NIGDY nie dołącza się do dyskusji o tym, jaki to Loki jest zły i co tym razem knuje. Po prostu wychodzi, albo ignoruje ich, przeglądając coś na tablecie. I te ciche rozmowy przez telefon i setki smsów, gdy Tony szczerzy się jak głupi do ekranu komórki. Każdy to zauważył.
