Somehow, Paradox Space allows this, and through the intense level of shenanigans that ensue that will mess with everyone involved in every way, there is only one thing that is for certain.
Jake's and Dirk's futures were to be intricately intertwined, forever and always, under any circumstances, and whether or not it was good for anyone.
